An adorable set of 4 ultramarine blue spring flowers printed on handmade cotton and denim rag paper. Each set is completely different and some of the prints are slightly ‘smudy’. This is what makes each piece a little piece of art.
These flowers are printed onto a thick 350gsm textured grey/blue hand made paper using a hand carved block in ultramarine Caligo ink. The paper is made in the UK by laurenink using a mould and deckle giving it a lovely feathery edge. It is made from denim and reclaimed rag and is dyed using colour extracted from botanicals.
The paper is 5.5 cm by 8.5 cm.
As each print is hand printed there are variations in the colour intensity, darkness and depth of each print. As the paper is handmade there may be speckles or mottling of plant matter and denim rag. This is what makes each piece unique and is a feature of my hand printed art.
These print are signed.
All prints are packaged with cotton cord and comes with a handprinted tag.
