There are 2 slightly different versions of this Pink and red blooms. The simplicity of these blooms make them quite striking. The inspiration comes from Kew Gardens and the hundreds of flowers you can see there. The 2 versions look great framed next to each other. (version 1 has 2 large flowers, version 2 is all smaller flowers)
These blooms are printed onto a smooth, white Somerset paper using a hand carved block in 2 layers. The first layer is pink and then the second layer is red on top. Version 1 has 2 large flowers, version 2 are smaller flowers.
The paper has deckled edges on 2 sides and is 28 cm by 38 cm and the image is 15 cm by 30 cm.
As each print is hand printed there are variations in the colour intensity, darkness and depth of each print. This is what makes each piece unique and is a feature of hand printed art. Each version is made in a set of 10 and is signed and numbered.
My framed Bloom print is beautifully framed by Wallhappiness in a white wood frame. The print is floated on a white mount board so you can see the deckled edges.
All prints are packaged with a recycled cardboard backing and in a compostable clear sleeve except for framed prints which are packaged in recycled material.
